“Who are some of the artists, writers or musicians who have influenced your work?

I can write a chronological list of the artists who have influenced me: as a child, I was impressed with Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci, as a teenager I was under the influence of Mikhail Vrubel, Egon Schiele, Nicolai Fechin and at this moment I am looking to Jose de Ribera, Mariano Fortuny. As far as contemporary artists, I am currently enthralled by the work of Nicola Samori and Justin Mortimer.”------from interview

“Have you ever felt artistically blocked? If so, how did you work through it?

I sometimes feel artistically blocked when I have a big pause in my work. The more time goes by without painting, the more difficult it is to return to the studio. And of course, if I am forced for any reason to make compromises in my art, it causes me to lose interest in the work. Then I begin to question what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and whether it’s worthwhile? To get over this feeling I usually start new paintings that I am genuinely interested in. This brings me to life, artistically! I make mistakes, learn from them, and keep going.”-----from interview

‘If you had a time machine and could talk to yourself, age 18, what would you say? What do you wish you knew then, that could have helped you as a person, and as an artist in the years to come?
I would have to say: drop everything immediately and apply to art school. Draw every day, study anatomy, composition and the theory of color. Learn, learn, learn. Don’t worry about anything other than art — life will sort itself out. '------from interview

“Pantomime - the kind of performing arts, in which the primary means of creating an artistic image is the human body and action without words as a means of expression.

This definition is my main idea in create a series of “pantomime”. In the works is laid-shaped relationship between people and the search for themselves.

But at the same time because of the vagueness and abstractness of space, viewers are given the opportunity of free interpretation of what they saw in the image, it including from their own worldview and life experience.”
